That’s why we’re thrilled to once again sponsor this year’s Good Life Halfsy – a race that celebrates determination, community and a lot of fun along the way.
And what better way to show our support than by hitting the pavement ourselves? Meet Gordon Miller, our very own sales manager and a 13-year Lexus of Lincoln team member! Gordon is a returning Halfsy runner who knows a thing or two about going the distance – on the sales floor and the racecourse.
This year marks Gordon’s third time running the Good Life Halfsy, and he’s lacing up with some serious motivation: “My 61-year-old dad signed up this year for the first time – and I CANNOT let him beat me!”
To get race-ready, Gordon is running four times a week, mixing up distances and speeds to build endurance and keep things interesting. His go-to advice for fellow runners is to start slow. “It’s more important to put in the miles than to do them fast,” he says.
That same thoughtful approach is what he brings to work every day. After more than a decade at Lexus of Lincoln, what keeps him energized isn’t just the cars – it’s the people. He tells us that his favorite part about work is getting to make new friends with our guests. (That’s our favorite, too!)
